Hats Off To Country

The 2011 Hats Off to Country Festival will be held from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th July.

A midyear winter celebration of country music in Australia's Country Music Capital, Hats Off is a cool contrast to the January Festival.

Hats Off to Country is delivered over four huge days of non-stop entertainment from some of Australia's finest country music talents.

Country music crowds can expect a fabulous array of activity with something for everyone at shopping centres, pubs and clubs around Tamworth and the surrounding region.

Visitors crowd into the city over the weekend from all across Australia to experience this intimate venue based midyear festival.

National Youth Week 2011

National Youth Week takes place from April 1st to April 10th. A huge array of youth focused events and festivals are taking place right across Australia, as well as Tamworth.

To mark this annual massive occasion, Tamworth's 88.9 Radio 2YOUFM is solidly behind National Youth Week  and lending its support to this positive event.

Australian Music Week at Radio 2YOU FM

NOVEMBER is Australian Music Month paying tribute to Australian artists and Australian musicians.

To mark the month-long event, Community Radio 2YOU FM is staging Australian Music Week from November 23 to November 30.

Presenters are encouraged to play 100 percent Australian Music on their programs during Australian Music Week.

Radio 2YOU FM is already committed to playing 25 percent Australian music content and it's only a short step for most presenters to go 100 percent Aussie.

Presenters in the musical genres country, blues, roots and acoustic have expressed interest in going 100 percent during Australian Music Week.
